The evolution of the internet has extended the internet itself to real objects and places (just "things"), which can now interact with the internet and transfer data and information. This is how the IoT(Internet of Things) was born. The object interacts with the surrounding world, as it is endowed with "intelligence", that is, it finds and transfers information between the Internet and the real world.
The Internet of Things associates the theme of the Internet with the real objects of everyday life, objects (and devices) that will be increasingly connected and that are creating a network even more dense presence on the ground and in all environments that need control, automation and detection. The Internet of Things economy is achieved not only when costs are reduced and efficiency increased, but when new services are created for businesses and consumers.
SisemLab has set up a specific IoT sector offering companies its expertise and specific IoT solutions in various application areas such as: Smart Home, SmartBuilding, and in particular the Smart City.
We helped develop Things, a modular, flexible and scalable IoT platform for SmartCities. The solution, multi-userand multi-lingual, has been designed to provide both public administrations and private individuals a tool for managing innovative services in SmartCity(SmartLighting, SmartParking, etc.). It allows you to receive heterogeneous data from multiple sensors through the innovative radio technologies Sigfox, LoRaWAN and NB-IoT.
